We had the privilege of representing The Salvation Army in the sale of their two Spokane Valley properties, located at 11211 E. Sprague Ave. and 21 N. Skipworth Rd. From the very beginning, their goal was clear: find the right buyers who could bring new life to these properties and maximize their value for the community.
Originally, both properties were listed as a package deal. While there was plenty of interest, most buyers only wanted one building — not both. After several months of thoughtful marketing and discussions, The Salvation Army made the strategic decision to separate the listings, opening the door to more targeted interest and opportunities.
That change made all the difference.
Almost immediately, activity picked up. Offers came in on both properties, and we were fortunate to also represent the buyers — allowing us to see the entire transaction through from start to finish. It was a smooth, rewarding process for all parties, and a strong example of how a strategic shift can lead to incredible outcomes.
Today, 11211 E. Sprague Ave. is in the process of being transformed into a new liquor store, and 21 N. Skipworth Rd. is undergoing renovations to become a 2-unit flex space with warehouse and office capabilities. The suites are now available for lease, with a target move-in date this fall.
